As you prepare your materials for you CPA application, please be sure to include the following items in as much detail as possible.
- A statement about any past experiences you have with the project you’re submitting
- A list of any additional students working on the project, including their residential colleges
- The dates and venues you are requesting, including alternative options if your first choice is not available
- A design concept and the production scope, including any technical needs
- A description of how the proposed project will enhance the artistic life of the residential college. If the proposed project is outside of the proposer’s college, then include an explanation of how it will enhance the artistic life of the college, and how members of the college will be involved.
- A complete budget including specific items, their cost, and where you would purchase them (as specific as you can). See the Budget Guidelines page for more details
- An essay about why your project should be funded, including a full synopsis of what your performance includes, is about, why the items/locations are important to the project, essentially
The application will go through each prompt with you and you’ll be able to write it then, but if you prepare even some of this prior to opening the application, then the process will go quickly.
